Mellow out the Sax

I attempted to warm up the tone of this alto a bit. It was too bright and cutting for the tune.
Large diaphragm Multi Condenser
Slightly off axis from bell, around 10" away.
Phantom, Loading, and Impedance switches on.
Loading made a huge difference in the body of the sax…richer sounding.

Optical Tube Compressor
Around a 3:1 ratio. Only slight gain reduction on louder playing.

5 band Parametric Equalizer
Rolled off a little 10k, boosted some 400hz-range slightly.
